QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience within a specialty pharmacy would be an asset.
Education and Training
• Bachelor's Degree (BSc) in Pharmacy or a PharmD, from an accredited college or university
• Licensed and in good standing with Provincial College of Pharmacists to be able to provide direct patient care
• Injection training (asset)
• CPR (asset)
Other Skills and Abilities
• Strong attention to detail within a fast-paced environment
• Clinically focused
• Experience with Kroll computer software
• Strong communication skills via phone/email and in person
• Ability to multitask and work well in a team environment
• Motivated, self-disciplined, and able to work independently
• Computer ability (word processing, database, and spreadsheet programs, etc.)
Reasoning Ability
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram or schedule form.
Physical Demands
• The employee is regularly required to talk or listen.
• The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to reach items, carry out dispensing activities and use a computer and other equipment
• The employee may be required to lift 25-50lbs
• The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.
• Vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
