Job Title: PharmacistJob Description
Coordinate and assist in managing and participating in pharmacy services, including dispensing of medications, quality assurance, and clinical monitoring activities.
Responsibilities
+ Review prescription orders using a 16-point check to ensure prescription information is accurate.
+ Confirm patient eligibility for the free drug program and ensure shipping information is correct.
+ Answer calls regarding patient counseling, shipping delays, and product stability.
+ Handle secondary tasks such as prescription transfers and clarification calls.
+ Ensure all scheduled orders are shipped out in a timely manner.
+ Monitor calls, orders, and shipments per day or hour.
+ Focus on providing medications to patients who qualify for free drug programs, with a particular emphasis on Multiple Sclerosis patients.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy.
+ 3+ years of experience in mail order, retail, or hospital pharmacy or a Pharm D.
+ Current pharmacist license in the state and other states as required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with pharmacy operations and prior authorization.
+ Knowledge of specialty pharmacy and compounding.
+ Experience using Scriptmed software.
+ Regulatory knowledge for 50 state dispensing is a plus.
+ Nice to have knowledge of Multiple Sclerosis, as 85% of orders are related to this clinical area.
Work Environment
This position is within a Specialty Pharmacy setting. The work hours are typically 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST with a half-hour lunch break, with occasional shifts from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, limited to once a week if possible. The company is growing with opportunities for upward mobility.

This is a Contract position based out of Shelby Township, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
