About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Pharmacist to join our team. This role is pivotal in shaping and supporting our pharmacy programs, ensuring high-quality care and compliance across services. Key Responsibilities:

Develop clinical criteria for medications and recommend plan design changes.Initiate and monitor clinical programs, including Drug Utilization Review (DUR) for Medicaid and Medicare.Review and assess prior authorization requests.Provide clinical support across internal departments and respond to pharmacy-related inquiries.Ensure quality control and identify opportunities for performance improvement.Create and maintain pharmacy policies and procedures.Coordinate and support the Medicare Medication Therapy Management (MTM) program.Collaborate with the case management team, including presenting during clinical rounds.

Qualifications:

PharmD or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.Active pharmacist license in the state of residence.Experience in managed care, clinical program development, or prior authorization review preferred.Strong communication and analytical skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
