Description:To provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to assure that the residents from pediatric to geriatric receive optimum drug therapy; 1) pharmacokinetic dosing 2) TPN monitoring 3) antibiotic review 4) medication assessment and recommendations to physicians. Additionally, the clinical manager is in charge in the absence of the director and is responsible for providing leadership and direction to ensure comprehensive pharmacy services at St. Mary's Health Care System utilizing concepts of pharmaceutical care. Including dispensing, control and monitoring medications and biological used in the facility. Changes should be evaluated and discussed with the Director or Pharmacy Services.

Position Requirements:

Licensure/Certification/Registration:  Must have completed all Georgia Licensure requirements and maintain a current Georgia Pharmacy License.

Education:  A Bachelor or Science degree in pharmacy or a PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy.

Experience:  Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy required. Residency in Infectious Disease or previous antimicrobial work experience desired.
