Job Description
Your primary role will involve utilizing your clinical skills to perform utilization management reviews, including prior authorizations, coverage exceptions, and quantity limit exceptions. You will conduct these reviews independently within a team of peers and other pharmacy professionals. Quality and performance are measured through monthly quality and productivity goals. This position is within the Commercial group, and new pharmacists are considered potential long-term employees, with contracts evaluated every six months for possible extension.
ResponsibilitiesConduct utilization management reviews independently, including prior authorizations, coverage exceptions, and quantity limit exceptions.Meet monthly quality and productivity goals.Work collaboratively with a team of peers and other pharmacy professionals.Essential SkillsDoctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science Pharmacy degree.Current pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy where the position is located.2+years of work experience in retail, managed care, or clinical pharmacy.Work Environment
This is a fully remote work-from-home position, available in all states except California, Hawaii, and Virginia. Candidates can be licensed in any U.S. state but must not reside in California, Hawaii, or Virginia.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $55.00/hr.
