The Training Manager (TM) is primarily responsible for strategic direction related to gene therapy and the successful delivery, execution, and management of all of the clients’ training-related needs. The TM is expected to comprehend and communicate the disease state, marketplace, and product-specific materials and must possess effective facilitation and communication skills. As a partner to sales management, should be highly competent in selling skills in complex customer environments. Experience in rare disease markets. The TM should be capable of developing creative training curricula for small teams with limited budgets, and able to represent training leadership in meetings when needed, ensuring seamless communication and continuity. Operational excellence in using data to identify appropriate patients is crucial, along with experience in facilitating RC approval for innovative training materials.

Facilitation & Presentation Skills
Manages live or virtual classroom environment in a manner that allows participants to meet learning objectivesProvide impactful webinar training as requiredExperienced in engaging workshop delivery utilizing Adult Learning PrinciplesProvide Train the Leader/Trainer workshopsFacilitate onboarding and POA workshops, especially in rare disease contextsCoaching & Developing Others
Coaches representatives during training classes and in evening sessionsEvaluates the competency levels of training class participants and provides timely evaluations and feedbackCompletes Field Rides upon request from Sales LeadershipProvide effective remote coaching to field-based teamsEngage in Mentoring opportunities with Field-Based trainers and personnelContent & Logistics
Supports Field Sales and Field Sales Management Team by leading efforts around national sales meetings, POA meetings, manager meetings, and other training initiativesOwn the Agenda Development/Updates for training activitiesManage the Medical, Legal, Regulatory Review process for training assets, including facilitation of RC approval for non-traditional materialsAssist in Curriculum Development where appropriate, with emphasis on creative, budget-conscious solutions for small teamsClient Focused
Oversees implementation of, or delivers, all training programs, including new-hire backfill training, advanced training, NSMs, POAs, and virtual trainingConducts ongoing training needs analysesCreates and maintains a workable Training Plan to determine the goals, strategies, and tactics to be implemented to achieve client satisfactionRepresents training leadership in meetings when needed and ensures seamless follow-through and communicationJob Qualifications
Required: 4-year college degree Preferred: MBA or master’s in instructional designRequired: Bio-pharma sales training experience with experience in rare disease markets, high-level PowerPoint skills
Pharma sales and sales management experience; background in Key Account Management, Reimbursement
The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $79.33 but may vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role.
