What You Will Be Doing
As the Project Engineer, you will be responsible for providing project engineering support to ensure the LSE team's success, including monitoring metrics, forecasting manpower requirements, and tracking proposals. You will play a critical role in supporting proposal efforts, staff planning, and program scheduling.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing support to proposal efforts and tracking LSE proposal efforts from RFP kickoff to contract award
• Supporting staff planning by tracking manpower forecasting and ensuring appropriate staff levels
• Collaborating with Integrated Product Teams to ensure alignment across Engineering, Supply Chain Management, and LSE
• Supporting LSE Lead in management of Government Work Authorization (GWA) activities and Control Account Management (CAM)
• Performing Earned Value Management (EVM) duties, including baseline planning and identifying cost and schedule variances

This position is in Grand Prairie, TX.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• General understanding of Control Account Management (CAM) Earned Value Management System (EVMS) processes and procedures
• Strong organization and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task high priorities
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic team environment under general guidance
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to perform oral presentations in front of large groups
• Ability to work successfully across functional groups and with customers (internal and external)
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software tools (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc)
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Control Account Manager (CAM) certified. Experience applying Control Account Management (CAM) / Earned Value Management System (EVMS) methodologies and analysis.
• Project management skillsets including: leadership, effective communication, planning/organization, risk management, and financial acumen
• Knowledge of the LSE disciplines
• Precision Fires program knowledge
• Familiarity with Tableau, Collaboration tools (Teams, Sharepoint), Scheduling Tools (MS Project, Open Plan).
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
