Overview
We’re looking for a skilled Project Manager Professional with experience in Petroleum Equipment, if this is you, join our Team! The Petroleum Equipment Project Manager directs and coordinates activities of contractors, professional service companies, as well as GPM resources engaged in installation, repair, maintenance, and construction of UST systems, dispensers, canopies, ATG’s and other fuel related equipment by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
Salary range:$85k-90k based on experience
Responsibilities
+ Develop plans and define scopes for all petroleum equipment projects in assigned geographical area.
+ Understand and execute compliance project scope related to the enforcement of rules and regulations governing UST compliance and petroleum equipment project permitting. Liaison, as needed, with state, county, and local regulatory municipalities related to petroleum equipment projects and compliance.
+ Budget, manage, and communicate all projects to stakeholders
+ Track project performance to ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget.
+ L ead cross-departmental project teams and manage all activities i n a project life cycle (initiation planning, executing/controlling, a n d closing) for projec ts that are across mult i ple depa rt ments o r associa te d with p r ocess improvement.
+ D evelop and r evise project p l a n s in cl u ding time lines, i ssues, resources, and dependencies i n co ll abora tion with project sponsors and cross departmental.
+ Active l y manage th e mi t igation of issues; re-allocate resources to minimize down-time and expedite project completion.
+ Manage risk to avoid delays or reputational damage.
+ D evelop communicatio n p l ans and comm un icate appropriate leve ls of information (status, issues, ris k s, decis i o n s) to project sponsors and senior staff.
+ Facilitate decisio n making with project team members and stake h o l de r s at a ll l evels of the o r ganization re l ated t o project perfo rm ance, in c ludin g , but not l imi t ed to schedule , sco p e , budget , and resources .
+ T r ain, Coach, Mentor, Deve l op:
+ Assist in the deve l opment of p r o j ect management curriculum t o create competency at GPM Investments .
+ Deliver petroleum equipment educat i on to associa tes
+ Coach and mentor associates on their projects and in their departments.
+ Act as a liaison within and between departments on petroleum equipment project management and best practices.
Qualifications
+ Experience in the installation and maintenance of Petroleum Equipment.
+ Preferred BS in Engineering or like sciences related to Petroleum Equipment and Project Management.
+ Knowledge of Petroleum Equipment as related Mechanical & Electrical design and installation is preferred. Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Smartsheet, Microsoft Project). Experience reading engineer drawings generated by AutoCAD or other widely accepted drafting programs.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Advanced math skills related to load calculations, financial budgeting with demonstrations of typical Petroleum Equipment Project and Construction math.
+ 4-year degree or comparable knowledge in sciences applicable to Petroleum Equipment, Construction Project Management, or like skill.
Additional requirements:
+ Willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
+ Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
