Personalization Operator
Compensation
$18.00 – $22.00 per hour, based on experience and background, plus $1.00 per hour shift differential

General Purpose
The Personalization Operator is responsible for operating personalization equipment according to customer specifications while meeting productivity, quality, and security standards. This role supports production by ensuring accurate setup, troubleshooting, and execution of personalization processes.
Essential Job Functions
• Set up and configure machinery software, magnetic stripe writers and readers, camera systems, and inkjet systems
• Set up, manage, and maintain Drop-on-Demand print systems, including managing data fields and creating new print setups for new clients
• Assist technical support team members with resolving operational issues
• Consult with managers regarding machine capabilities or maintenance-related concerns
• Troubleshoot and resolve production run issues as they arise
• Rework or remake product that does not meet quality standards
• Maintain security and confidentiality of customer and user data during processing
• Demonstrate positive leadership in a non-management role by following company policies, guidelines, and behavioral expectations
• Assist with training new operators as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Ability to meet or pass minimum requirements on a mechanical aptitude test, or demonstrate mechanical aptitude through prior work experience
• Previous experience operating high-speed production equipment preferred
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and data entry
• Intermediate math skills
• Ability to read and use a ruler accurately
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Sound decision-making skills
• Self-motivated with effective time management skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Willingness to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during peak periods
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
