Job description

The personal trainer is responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of the fitness and wellness programs within the hotel. They ensure exceptional service delivery through group and personal training sessions and support guests to reach their goals. They also ensure upkeep and maintenance of the gym, studio, and related guest facilities.

Key responsibilities:Plan, execute and deliver personal and group fitness and wellness programs, helping guests achieve their goalsConduct fitness assessments, consultations (PAR-Q, health history), and personalize training plansLead one-on-one training sessions and group classes safely and professionally, demonstrating proper form and spottingAdhere strictly to spa policy and standard operating procedures, ensuring operational consistency and guest safetyServe as a brand ambassador, upholding Fairmont's values and building relationships with internal teams and external stakeholdersMaintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times in guest-facing environmentsStay well-informed about all aspects of the spa, fitness facilities, equipment, and wellness offeringsAssist in planning and scheduling monthly group classes and workshopsProactively follow up with guests regarding scheduled training appointments and referralsSupport other spa, fitness, and recreation areas operationally when neededSafeguard all guests, clients, and team members by enforcing safety and hygiene standardsMaintain and pursue continuous professional certification and updated knowledge in fitness and wellnessUphold confidentiality for spa and guest data, in line with corporate policyExecute duties graciously and professionally, creating a memorable experience for each guest About the Company
