**SUMMARY:**
We currently have an opportunity for Customer Service Representative & receptionist to join our Personal Lines team in our Belle Chasse, LA office. The selected employee will assist Advisors with the processing of new business and account managers with the processing and servicing of all personal lines accounts in accordance with the practices, policies and procedures of the Company. In addition will serve as the receptionist for the office, answering phones, greeting customers, etc.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Answering phones
+ Prepare Automobile ID cards, declaration pages, lost policy release forms, summaries of insurance, schedules of insurance, etc.
+ Review retrieved carrier website documentation.
+ Process renewals, endorsements; this includes attaching policies in EPIC, mailing insureds and mortgagee copies. Checking documents for accuracy.
+ Invoice policies and endorsements
+ Provide support as needed to account managers
+ Back-up receptionist as needed
+ Other responsibilities as assigned by the manager
+ Open reception area and office by the required office opening time each day and closes the reception area at the end of the day
+ Present a friendly, professional demeanor at all times
+ Answer incoming telephone calls, forward calls, deliver messages, mail and faxes to appropriate personnel or department in a friendly and professional manner
+ Answer questions about organization and provide callers with address, directions, and other information as required
+ Welcome on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel
+ Receive, sort, date stamp, and route mail or packages to appropriate personnel, scan all mail into system and distribute appropriately
+ Will organize outgoing mail, separating mail to insurance carriers, other offices, and prepare for pickup
+ May order, receive, and maintain office supplies, coordinate maintenance of office equipment with vendors
**REQUIREMENTS:**
+ High School diploma or GED (AA or college attendance desired)
+ Previous work experience (preferably with an insurance, financial services or professional services company) is preferred
+ Louisiana license required within 90 days of employment
+ Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
+ Computer proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, etc.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
+ Demonstrated attention to detail
+ Strong customer service skills

Required Education: High school or equivalent
