Personal Lines CSR

Our client is a well-established, independent insurance brokerage based in Toronto, currently hiring due to continued growth and an upcoming retirement. This is a stable, long-term opportunity within a collaborative environment that prioritizes client service and relationship management over aggressive sales targets.
You’ll support a personal lines book of approximately $2.5M in premium, working closely with producers and an in-house sales team. Cross-selling and upselling are primarily handled internally, allowing this role to focus on servicing, renewals, and delivering a high-quality client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and process applications, endorsements, binders, renewals, cancellations, and invoicing using EPIC and carrier portals
Conduct annual renewal reviews and risk exposure analysis
Provide competitive quotes and recommend appropriate coverages
Manage renewal lists, audits, binders, and aged receivables
Prepare proof of insurance for financing and leasing companies
Maintain accurate and compliant electronic client files in EPIC
Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and written correspondence
Build strong working relationships with clients and insurance company underwriters
Support marketing communications and special projects as requiredWhat We’re Looking ForRIBO license in good standing
Minimum 2 years of personal lines experience in a brokerage environment
(3–5 years preferred)
Comfortable handling a high volume of phone-based client interactions
Strong understanding of personal lines underwriting and coverages
Experience using EPIC and company portals
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
