Personal Care VN Technical Project Lead R&D Manager

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

Support the PC Country R&D Lead for the on-time and in-full delivery of the overall R&D program, ensuring relevant product technology and performance delivery. Program will encompass innovation, product superiority, savings & simplification, sourcing & resilience, and sustainability.As Technical Project Leader, lead the technical workstream for projects partnering with the BU Marketing & Supply Chain leads to ensure key network milestones identified and delivered. Lead product mix development for Horizon 1 projects for market and lead deployment for Horizon 2+ projects for market in scope.Lead coordination of R&D deliverables for the innovation project across all functional workstreams (CTI, Processing, Packaging, RA) and ensure all R&D deliverables are on-track. Coach the functional workstream leads and help address any issues that could put the project implementation at risk.Act as R&D Formulation workstream lead as needed. Support BG R&D team on necessary formulation activities based on available capacity and capability in BU.Develop thorough market understanding and leverage insights for robust product lock for innovation projects.Drive innovation product compliance to relevant Unilever policies and local regulations. Partner with relevant functional teams in BG & BU to develop comprehensive risk management with clear action plans to mitigate key risks.Lead the R&D input into projects up for decision gate with Investor Board stakeholders. Lead engagement & alignment with relevant R&D stakeholders prior to Investor Board.Partner with the CTI lead to identify and develop robust & compliant claims and claim support package.Lead the implementation and engaging delivery of product activation assets with range of audiences (e.g. consumer, customers, influencers, authorities & experts) By collaborating with Activation lead to  amplify further impact (e.g. input into post-launch evaluations). Share actively success stories and best practices for learnings.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

Minimum graduate degree in science or technology coursesMinimum fluency in English for communication (reading, writing, speaking). Confidence and passion in talking about product science & technology in an engaging manner is a must.Preferably with 5 year above experience in a fast-moving consumer goods FMCG industryPreferably with PC R&D experience in Southeast Asian marketsPreferably with broad range of R&D experience across different functions (formulation, processing, CTI, packaging)Preferably with proven track record of leading projects & teams as TPL and delivering with speed at a consistently high standardPreferably with consistent exposure and engagement with business teams
