The Personal Assistant to the Area Vice President (AVP) and General Manager of Grand Hyatt Tokyo provides high-level executive, operational and strategic administrative support across Hyatt’s Japan Luxury, Lifestyle Grand Hyatt (LLG) portfolio as well as Grand Hyatt Tokyo. This role acts as a central coordination point between the AVP, General Managers, hotel leadership teams, owners and corporate stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, operational alignment, accountability follow-through and seamless execution of business priorities.
The role requires exceptional organizational capability, sound judgment, discretion, cultural awareness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across a fast-paced, multi-property luxury environment. The Personal Assistant is expected to proactively anticipate business needs, drive follow-up accountability, support executive effectiveness, and maintain the highest standards of professionalism aligned with Hyatt’s Purpose, Values and Culture. The role is also accountable for all project management and coordination across the portfolio.

Experience
Minimum 5 years of executive administrative support experience, preferably supporting senior hospitality leadership.Experience in luxury hospitality, multi-property operations or regional office environments preferred.Education Expertise
Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field preferred.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese.Strong Ai based technology abilityExperience
