Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full lifecycle of permitting activities for telecom long-haul projectsPrepare and submit accurate permit packages to local, state, and federal authoritiesTrack and monitor permit status to ensure timely approvals and project progressCollaborate with engineering and construction teams to align permitting with project timelinesMaintain compliance with all applicable codes, ordinances, and regulatory requirementsResearch and apply regulatory updates to keep projects on trackServe as the primary point of contact for permitting inquiries and stakeholder communicationResolve permitting issues quickly to avoid delays and keep projects moving forward

Qualifications: 2–5 years of permitting or regulatory compliance experience, ideally in telecom, power, gas, construction, or other utility projectsProven ability to prepare and submit permit packages for approvalStrong knowledge of building codes, ordinances, permitting procedures, and local regulations; DOT/Federal/County familiarity preferredUnderstanding of outside plant design principles, work order processes, and telecom standardsAbility to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and engineering plansProficiency with MS Word, Excel, and scheduling tools; Quick Base experience a plusSkilled in researching and applying regulatory updatesExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; confident interacting with stakeholdersResponsive to client needs and capable of handling typical project requests

Working Conditions:

Willingness and ability to travel as needed to coordinate with agencies, attend meetings, or support project sites

This role will begin as a remote (work-from-home) position and will transition to a full-time, in-office role based in Florence once the new location is operational.
