Job Title: Permit Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Permit Coordinator to support the EACAM design work, specifically focusing on the deployment of fiber optic networks in rural areas. This position is part of an initiative funded by the Enhanced Alternative Connect America Model (Enhanced A-CAM or E-ACAM) program, which aims to bring high-speed broadband to remote locations.

Responsibilities

Draw permit polygons and manage DB621 ROW/COLO processes.Interpret existing fiber cable records, including staking sheets, as-builts, as-stake, PUE, easement, and ROW/COLO documents.Submit all relevant documents, staking sheets, and permit packets to applicable permitting entities.Manage tracking and project management systems, storing permit-related documents and records efficiently.Attend DB621 training, provide status updates, and participate in quality control review meetings with assigned points of contact.Participate in all project meetings, providing updates and engaging in strategic planning and data gathering activities.

Essential Skills

Experience with permitting, ROW, fiber deployment, and colocating.Knowledge of telecommunications and construction in municipality settings.1+ year of experience coordinating with municipalities and local governments for fiber-related projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with permit applications and understanding of telecommunications infrastructure.

Work Environment

This is a 100% remote position, working as part of a team of 6 coordinators and 2 leads dedicated to this project. Enjoy 2 weeks of paid time off and 6 paid holidays. The role involves flexible hours, allowing you to manage your schedule effectively while meeting project deadlines.

Job Type & Location

This is a 30+ month contract position based out of Wisconsin (Working 100% remote)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
