Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Perl Developer in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Maryland Heights, MO. Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Perl Developer with strong SQL expertise to join a collaborative and experienced data applications team. This role involves working within an established framework while having the autonomy to propose and implement efficient solutions. The Developer will enhance datasets, support enterprise-level applications, and create custom ETL processes when existing tools cannot meet business needs. Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain scripts primarily in Perl to support enterprise applications and data workflows * Work with complex SQL queries, including CTEs and window functions, to prepare and enhance data for downstream use * Support data pipelines and ETL processes, including custom ETL development when required * Connect to various data sources, including APIs, and handle formats such as XML and CSV * Monitor system queries and dashboards, identifying and resolving anomalies across large datasets * Prepare data for front-end teams to visualize and consume * Collaborate with team members to continuously optimize data processes and workflows * Apply creative problem-solving to improve efficiency within the framework while driving best practices
