Perioperative Service Tech

Functions as a liaison to other departments regarding anesthesia supplies and equipment. Assists the Department of Anesthesia with patient care. Maintains work and storage areas for the Department of Anesthesiology. **What the Perioperative Service Tech Will Do:** + Performs preventive maintenance on anesthesia equipment, reports repairs needed, exchanges CO₂ absorber, assists with specialized equipment, and responds to anesthesia provider requests. + Collaborates with team members, maintains equipment/supply logs, cleans machines and carts daily and after each use, and ensures emergency supplies are stocked. + Assists with equipment tracking, requests maintenance as needed and responds promptly to pages. + Prepares rooms and sterile fields, works with Sterile Processing, verifies instruments/supplies, and prioritizes workflow. + Cleans and decontaminates instruments, educates ancillary staff, ensures safe transport, and performs other related duties. **Minimum Qualifications:** + High school diploma or GED. + Two years of experience in anesthesia. + Working knowledge of anesthesia equipment and procedures **Our Commitment** Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
