Reviews patient medications and health histories, as needed. **The value you'll bring to the team:** + Schedules patients for surgery and completes facility paperwork. + Obtains necessary scheduling, demographic, insurance, and clinical information to schedule, cancel, or reschedule events with minimal call transfers or callbacks. + Schedules surgeries with physicians and physician office staff using the method designated by the facility. + Calls designated departments with information for add-on cases if patients are not yet admitted to the hospital and prepares and sends reservations for each case scheduled within established timeframes.
