Kforce's client is seeking a performance testing expert to analyze and optimize their ERP ecosystem, which has been in use for over 10 years (AX 2012). The system has undergone extensive customization and growth, leading to known performance issues. The Performance Testing Consultant will help identify pain points across infrastructure and application layers. Responsibilities: * Analyze performance across the full stack: infrastructure, network, database, VDI, and application layers * Design, script, and execute performance tests using tools like JMeter (preferred), iPerf, and others * Collaborate with DBA, networking, and application teams to isolate bottlenecks * Develop use cases and build test scripts to simulate real-world scenarios * Generate detailed reports on performance findings and recommendations Utilize monitoring tools such as: * Microsoft PerfMon, AX Trace Parser, SQL Profiler/Extended Events * Wireshark, iPerf for network and latency * ControlUP, Lakeside SysTrack for VDI and application monitoring * Big part will be the DAX and JMeter - if they've done overall performance testing in that environment but used other tools he is comfortable with that
