Job Description

Are you passionate about driving performance and supporting teams to deliver operational excellence? We're looking for a motivated and solutions-driven Performance Manager to join our Infrastructure & PMO Operating Unit within PPC in B+P.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, gain high-level business visibility, and play a key role in shaping the success of one of our most dynamic operating units.

Here’s what you’ll do:

Performance & Governance

Support the Operating Unit Leader in all aspects of business performanceEnsure 100% project reviews and Tier 1 Healthy Starts are completed on timeDrive data quality and reporting accuracy across the OUOversee workflows, governance reviews, and timely approvals

Finance & Delivery

Help meet cash and billing targets by supporting project financial healthMinimise margin erosion and write-backs through smarter project supportWork with teams on accurate backlog profiling and key project metrics (including DQI)Ensure reporting obligations are met across the board

Client & Commercial Risk

Proactively identify and escalate project risksSupport project governance including Go/No Go and Tender Board processesManage Work@Risk and Revenue@Risk processesWork closely with Commercial Management and Finance on contract and risk reviews

People & Process

Be the key point of contact on project performance for OULs and Ops DirectorsChampion upskilling across teams in tools like Workbench and Quality platformsSupport strategic resourcing and utilisation across the Operating Unit

Here’s what we’re looking for:

A proactive, confident communicator with a strong working knowledge of AECOM systems and governanceSomeone who thrives in cross-functional collaboration and can confidently work across multiple projectsFinancially astute, with a keen eye for performance metrics and risk managementDetail-oriented but able to see the big picture - balancing quality with delivery

This role offers a unique opportunity to step into a highly visible position within the PPC leadership structure. You'll work with top stakeholders, have influence over strategic project outcomes, and help shape how we drive operational success in a complex, fast-moving part of the business
