Performance Improvement Coach

Responsible for leading performance improvement projects and coaching leaders and team members at all levels of the organization on the Lean Management System. Facilitate improvement projects utilizing a wide range Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) tools including those from Lean, Six Sigma, Change Management and Project Management. Works collaboratively with cabinet, administrators, managers, and physicians to identify, coach, and support performance improvement projects that create ever increasing value for all key stakeholders. Project deliverables include improved performance in patient and team member safety, clinical quality, operational efficiency, patient and team member satisfaction, and financial outcomes. Responsible for delivering improvement support to a portfolio of health system customers that may include inpatient units, procedural departments, ambulatory clinics, and corporate support services.Provides effective leadership and coaching to ensure completion of Health System performance improvement projects by selecting and utilizing appropriate CQI methodologiesActs as a change agent, providing direction to leaders and team members and gaining their supportDelivers project management services for select efforts as necessaryPartners with administrative and clinical leaders to establish and maintain the Lean Management SystemServes as a liaison to other Quality and Performance Improvement (QPI) Department resourcesConnects leaders and front line staff to other Health System resources for purposes of enhancing improvement effortsCollects, analyzes and displays quantitative and qualitative data for purposes of identifying and understanding opportunities for improvementIn addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.Position Compensation Range: $89,523.20 - $143,228.80 Annual
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
Experience: Minimum two years’ experience facilitating performance improvement projects by applying CQI tools, and mentoring leaders and frontline staff in a complex organization.
Licensure: None.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
