You help develop a comprehensive view of what great looks like in retail enterprises for our categories. You create market-leading capabilities in managing space, range and distribution to maximize category growth throughout all retail channels and environments and track and measure performance of space against forecast plans.
How you will contribute
ROLE PURPOSE
The Perfect Store Lead is responsible for driving world-class in-store execution across channels, ensuring Mondelēz brands win at the “moment of truth.”
The role brings to life Mondelēz Perfect Store standards across Availability, Visibility, Affordability, and Activation, translating category and shopper strategy into consistent, scalable execution in-store.
This role acts as the bridge between Strategy (Category, Shopper, Marketing) and Execution (Sales & Merchandising)—turning plans into reality on shelf.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Perfect Store Strategy & Standards
- Own the development and deployment of Perfect Store standards by channel (Hyper, Super, Convenience, Traditional Trade).
- Translate category vision, shopper insights, and brand strategies into clear in-store standards (planograms, shelf principles, secondary displays, POSM, navigation).
- Define “What Great Looks Like” for each channel and mission.
- Ensure standards are simple, scalable, and executable in the UAE retail environment.
2. In-Store Excellence & Execution
- Lead the rollout of Perfect Store across key channels & customers (Carrefour, Lulu, Spinneys, COOPs, Minimarts, TT, etc…).
- Work closely with Sales teams to ensure adoption of standards at store level.
- Conduct regular market visits and audits to identify gaps vs. Perfect Store.
- Drive corrective action plans with Sales, Merchandising, and Distributors.
- Ensure excellence in availability, shelf quality, secondary placements, and POSM compliance.
3. Capability Building
- Train Sales and Merchandising teams on Perfect Store principles and tools.
- Build store thinking capability and field execution excellence.
- Develop simple toolkits, visuals, and playbooks for the field.
4. Analytics & Performance Tracking
- Own Perfect Store KPIs and scorecards.
- Use store audit data and sales insights to track progress.
- Translate insights into clear actions
- Lead the digitization of the perfect store program (IR tools, tracking, etc…)
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing, CP&A/Category Management/Shopper Marketing, and Sales teams.
- Support Customer Teams with customer-specific execution strategies.
