Discover a rewarding career at AJH, where you can make a meaningful impact within a close-knit community while advancing your professional growth within a thriving healthcare system._ **_Are you ready to become a part of our dynamic team?_** Responsibilities include but are not limited to: + Utilizes critical thinking skills and the teaching of evidence-based practice. + Utilizes Standard Universal Precautions. + Advocates for patients and families to ensure positive patient care outcomes. + Documents all changes as well as relevant information regarding patient’s response to intervention, therapeutic regimens, and patient progress as it relates to plan of care and patient’s response to teaching. + Responds to patient needs in a timely manner, including answering call lights. + Considers the impact of a critical illness and the critical care environment on the patient and family. + Completes admission and on-going assessments based on patient needs within appropriate time frame. + Demonstrates clinical competency and follows standards of care, policies and procedures. + Continually insures patient safety by compliance with, but not limited to, hospital policies and procedures, HIPPA, the Joint Commission Patient Safety Goals and Universal protocol. + Acts in accordance with Critical Care Nursing Standards. + Utilizes appropriate clinical decisions in a rapidly changing environment. + Monitors hemodynamic status. + Demonstrates clinical proficiency in caring for the critically ill patient. + Responds appropriately in an emergency situation. **Work Shift:** Per Diem - Rotating **Education Required:** Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN preferred. **Licenses, Registrations, Certifications Required:** + State of Massachusetts RN licensure (or eligibility) + BLS + ACLS **Experience:** Previous experience in Wound-Ostomy preferred.
