Per Diem Pediatric Cardiologist Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center , located in Bangor, Maine, seeks a per diem BC/BE pediatric cardiologist to join our active and growing hospital-employed practice supporting both inpatient and outpatient care. Our practice currently includes two full-time pediatric cardiologists in addition to a support staff which includes 3 echocardiography technicians participating in call. Qualifications · Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatric Cardiology · Excellent communication skills · Proficiency in non-invasive diagnostic cardiology. Ability to perform/interpret fetal echocardiography and/or cardiac MRI is preferred. · Strong interest in teaching and outreach across a broad geographic area · Desire to become part of a multidisciplinary pediatric care team Why Northern Light Health Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is a 411-bed regional tertiary care center and an ACS-verified level II trauma center with academic affiliations and serving a population of 500,000 living in the northern 2/3 of the state’s geography.
