PeopleSoft Functional Consultant

We are seeking a skilled professional to design and implement PeopleSoft ERP technology solutions that support key financial processes, including:

Record to Report (R2R): General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Accounting, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Reporting, and Master Data Management

Procure to Pay (P2P): End-to-end procurement and payment functions

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with project teams, delivery leads, and client stakeholders to develop robust solutions using PeopleSoft tools

Coordinate with global team members to implement regulatory frameworks such as SAF-T for countries including Poland and Romania

Support bank integration activities for Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) modules

Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), translating project requirements into actionable features, user stories, and acceptance criteria

Leverage domain expertise to synthesize input from multiple stakeholders and ensure high-value delivery


Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

PeopleSoft Roadmap Development Design and maintain a strategic roadmap for PeopleSoft ERP, delivering high-value and business-critical solutions on schedule.

Sprint Planning Actively participate in sprint planning sessions to help define short-, medium-, and long-term priorities for the team.

Backlog Management Own and manage the PeopleSoft team backlog, ensuring it remains current with prioritized user stories, bug fixes, and enhancement requests. This includes refining and clarifying requirements for the development team.

Stakeholder Communication Engage regularly with stakeholders to gather requirements, share updates, and incorporate feedback into ongoing initiative

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical or financial field (preferably CA, ICWA, or MBA – Finance)

PeopleSoft certification is a strong advantage

Solid technical foundation with excellent communication, presentation, time management, and leadership skills

Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively across internal and external teams, with clear communication across diverse audiences

Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, including involvement in ERP implementation projects

Experience as a PeopleSoft Business Analyst or Business Super-User is highly desirable

Proficiency in Incident Management and Change Management processes

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex issues

Deep understanding of Procure to Pay (PTP), Order to Cash (O2C), and Record to Report (R2R) processes, including configuration analysis and solution design for evolving business needs

Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
