People Technology Senior Technical Specialist
The Role

We’re looking for a technically skilled and motivated People Technology Senior Technical Specialist to join our HelloFresh People Technology Team at our Berlin or New York headquarters.

In this hands-on role, you’ll help build and maintain the integrations that connect Workday with other internal and external systems across our global People Technology landscape. You’ll contribute to designing and implementing secure, reliable, and efficient integrations that support payroll, time tracking, benefits, and other HR-critical processes.

You’ll work closely with colleagues from People, IT, Finance, Legal, and external vendors to understand technical and functional needs, and to deliver solutions that are scalable, compliant, and aligned with HelloFresh’s growth.

What You’ll Do Develop and maintain integrations between Workday and other systems, using tools like EIBs, Workday Studio, Web Services (REST/SOAP), and Core Connectors. Collaborate with stakeholders across HR, IT, Finance, and external vendors to translate business requirements into integration solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to ensure accurate and reliable data flow across platforms Support Workday release updates and related system testing. Ensure integrations are secure, compliant with GDPR, and aligned to HelloFresh data governance standards. Contribute to documentation efforts, including technical specs, error-handling guides, and end-user support materials. Participate in agile team ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery of backlog items. Help identify opportunities to improve the performance and stability of existing integrations.


What You’ll Bring 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workday integrations and related technologies. Proficiency with integration tools such as EIBs, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services. Familiarity with common integration protocols and formats (e.g., XML, JSON, SFTP, REST/SOAP). Solid understanding of Workday data structures and HR business processes. Experience with integration development, testing, deployment, and monitoring practices. A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills — able to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data review and manipulation. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience working in agile environments (SCRUM) is a plus. Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.

New York Pay Range$125,000—$150,000 USD
