The Time to Pay (T2P) Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end Time & Attendance and Payroll operations for Sanofi. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of services across assigned countries, with a focus on operational excellence and process improvement.
Payroll Management
Execute end-to-end payroll processing with high accuracy and timeliness.
Ensure payroll inputs are ready for each cycle as per the payroll calendar.
Perform GL mapping, reconciliation, and post-payroll reporting.
Manage tax compliance for all employees, including international mobility cases.
Process shares management (LTI, stocks) in collaboration with Performance & Reward team.
Prepare payroll reports for internal stakeholders and government authorities.
Handle payroll-related vendor management, including PR/PO requests.
Provide Tier 2 support for payroll-related issues.
Time & Attendance Administration
Oversee time and attendance systems, including clock-in/out for all sites.
Manage leave, overtime, and other time-related processes.
Ensure data integrity across all time-tracking systems.
Collaborate with managers and timekeepers to resolve discrepancies.
Prepare periodic time and attendance reports.
Compliance & Documentation
Act as SPOC for internal/external audits related to Time and Payroll processes.
Complete Control Self-Assessments (CSA) in a timely manner.
Maintain up-to-date documentation and local Time and Payroll articles.
Ensure data privacy compliance.
Assist in closing audit findings and updating audit reporting systems.
Complete all mandatory compliance training in iLearn.
Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement
Contribute to Global Core Model deployment and maintenance.
Update Desktop Procedures (DTPs) quarterly.
Identify and implement process improvements through simplification, standardization, and automation.
Participate in global Time and Payroll projects and initiatives as required.
Close gaps between current DTPs and Global Core Model.
Support Time and Payroll transitions within the Hubs and In Market
Stakeholder Management
Liaise with internal departments (Finance, Legal, HR) and external vendors.
Provide Tier 2 support for T2P processes.
Handle employee inquiries regarding Time management and Payroll.
Reporting & Analytics
Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports for various stakeholders.
Monitor data quality and identify potential issues proactively.
Analyze T2P data to support decision-making and process improvements.
About You
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
Master's degree preferred
Experience
At least 1+ years of experience in time and payroll operations.
Experience in the People Services Operations is highly desirable.
Proven track record in an international or multicultural shared services environment
Technical Skills
Proficient in Workday, ServiceNow, and other SBO People Services technologies
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Knowledge of local HRIS and payroll systems
Hands-on experience with People & Culture Management (PCM) systems is an advantage
Functional Knowledge
Strong knowledge of E2E payroll management
Comprehensive understanding of local legal requirements, taxation, and labor laws
Broad understanding of HR processes and activities
Awareness of data privacy rules (GDPR etc.)
Strong deductive and analytical skills
Soft Skills
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English; Japanese languages is a plus
Strong stakeholder management abilities
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
Team player mentality with the ability to work collaboratively across functions
Customer-focused approach with a positive attitude
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Compliance Requirements:
Complete all mandatory HSE and compliance training as required by Sanofi
Adhere to Sanofi's internal control framework and policies
Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with GDPR and local data protection regulations
Complete required iLearn training modules within specified timeframes
Performance Indicators:
Accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing
Compliance with Sanofi's Golden Rules and People Services Executive KPIs
Timely closure of audit findings and CSA items
