We are looking for a talented and accomplished People Services Specialist to join our team.

 

 

As a People Services Specialist, your daily responsibilities will include:

 

Act as a subject-matter expert on People Services processes, Greek labor law requirements, and HR administration practices Own the end-to-end administration of employee lifecycle activities, including employment changes, leaves, and terminations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and legal compliance Ensure accurate and compliant maintenance of employee data across HRIS systems (e.g. SuccessFactors, Scan HRMS), payroll platforms, and ERGANI Serve as the primary point of contact for employee requests via the internal ticketing system, providing guidance, interpretation of policies, and resolution of complex cases Independently handle and advise on specialized employee cases (e.g. maternity/parental leave, long-term sickness, special leave types, disciplinary or sensitive cases) Upload, validate, and monitor all required submissions to ERGANI, ensuring full alignment with Greek employment legislation Collaborate with the Benefits Owner by supporting employee inquiries, data validation, and handovers related to benefits administration, without primary ownership of benefit processes Act as a key liaison with Payroll and external partners to ensure correct data flow, statutory compliance, and timely processing Own the People Services documentation framework, including SOPs, guidelines, templates, and internal knowledge base articles Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, or compliance risks and proactively propose and implement improvements to existing workflows Act as a point of contact for compliance, audit, and data accuracy, supporting internal and external audits with documentation, reporting, and explanations Liaise with Legal and Privacy teams on GDPR-related topics, employee data access, retention, and handling standards Produce and analyze People Services metrics and reports (e.g. ticket volumes, turnaround times, error rates, absence trends) to support operational and strategic decisions Support change initiatives, system updates, and process rollouts related to HR operations Provide guidance and informal mentoring to junior team members when required

 

 

 

To succeed in the role, you will need to have:

 

Advanced level of Greek and English (minimum C1), both written and verbal Strong knowledge of Greek employment and labor legislation, including ERGANI requirements Proven experience in HR Operations / People Services / HR Administration, preferably in a fast-paced or high-volume environment Ability to work independently, assess risk, and provide sound HR guidance, beyond task execution Strong analytical and data-oriented mindset, with experience in reporting, tracking, and trend analysis Excellent planning, prioritization, and time-management skills High attention to detail with a compliance-first approach Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and seniority levels Assertive, solution-oriented attitude with a strong sense of ownership Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism Flexibility and resilience to adapt to changing priorities and operational demands Must hold EU citizenship or valid work permit for Greece

Education and experience

 

 

Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in HR Administration, People Services, or HR Operations, preferably within a fast-paced environment Hands-on experience with ERGANI and employment-related platforms Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline (Master’s degree considered a plus) Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English Advanced user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (tracking, reporting, data analysis) Experience with SuccessFactors and/or Scan HRMS is considered a strong advantage Exposure to audits, compliance checks, or GDPR-related processes will be considered an asset Previous experience in the contact center industry is a plus, but not mandatory
