**Position Summary**
The People Services Specialist is responsible for executing employee lifecycle transactions and responding to Tier 2 HR inquiries across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of HR data, supports compliance with company policies and local labor regulations, and provides high-quality service to employees, managers, and HR partners. The People Services Specialist also contributes to process documentation and continuous improvement efforts within the People Services team.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ HR Operations & Service Delivery
+ Process employee lifecycle transactions in HR systems (e.g., hires, terminations, job changes, leaves of absence).
+ Ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal policies and applicable labor laws.
+ Support data entry, mass uploads, and HR data audits.
+ Inquiry Management
+ Resolve Tier 2 inquiries related to HR policies, processes, and system navigation employee records, pay-impacting changes, and benefits transactions.
+ Escalate complex or unresolved cases to Sr. People Services Specialists or People Services Experts.
+ Collaboration & Support
+ Partner with Field HR, Payroll, and other internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
+ Maintain accurate documentation of transactions and case resolutions in case management tools.
+ Support onboarding and training of new team members as needed.
+ Compliance & Documentation
+ Follow standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
+ Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and timely documentation.
+ Process Improvement
+ Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency.
+ Contribute to the development and maintenance of knowledge articles and process documentation.
**Qualifications**
+ Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
+ Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in HR operations or shared services, preferably supporting North America.
+ Systems: Experience with Workday or other HRIS platforms; familiarity with case management tools such as ServiceNow or Workday Help is a plus.
+ Languages: Fluency in English required; Spanish or French is a plus.
