People Services Generalist

The People Services Generalist will be responsible for managing purchase orders and payment processes for payroll and benefits, while providing backup support for payroll and time & attendance processes. This role involves executing core People Services processes within the legal framework and Sanofi's corporate policies, while maintaining adequate control and minimizing associated risks. Main Responsibilities: **1) Operations Excellence for Purchase Orders and Payment Processes** + **Manages the end-to-end purchase order process** for payroll services, benefits, and payroll vendors in collaboration with Finance Team, ensuring timely creation of Purchase Orders (POs) and processing invoices. + **Serves as focal point** for payment processing of payroll and benefits invoices, ensuring compliance with Sanofi's policies and procedures. + **Coordinates with vendors** to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure accurate and timely payments while maintaining proper documentation. + **Processes payment requests** for benefits providers, ensuring proper validation, approval, and documentation according to Sanofi's financial controls. + **Maintains vendor master data** for service providers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information for seamless payment processing. + **Provides Tier 2 support** for purchase order and payment issues, ensuring timely resolution while prioritizing stakeholder satisfaction. + **Liaises with multiple stakeholders** including Finance, Procurement, and vendors to ensure comprehensive end-to-end process support. + **Provides backup support** for payroll processing and time & attendance functions when needed. **2) Process Excellence** + Identifies opportunities for process enhancement through simplification, standardization, harmonization, and automation of payment workflows. + Evaluates and addresses tasks and processes that deviate from the core model and Sanofi's new ways of working, proposing comprehensive remedial action plans. + Oversees implementation of remedial action plans to ensure complete execution, with the goal of continuously improving payment process quality. + Develops and maintains documentation of standard operating procedures for purchase order and payment processes. **3) Compliance** + Ensures compliance of day-to-day operations with the Internal Control framework and financial policies. + Completes Control Self-Assessments (CSAs) in a timely manner for payment-related processes. + Addresses and closes all internal and external audit findings related to purchase orders and payments, updating relevant reporting tools accordingly. + Fulfils all mandatory compliance training requirements on Sanofi learning platforms within designated timeframes. + Adheres to all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and security guidelines, including completion of mandatory HSE training. **4) Individual development** + Pursues professional development through in-person and virtual learning opportunities available on Sanofi learning platforms. + Actively contributes to cross-functional continuous improvement projects related to payroll and benefits payment processes. + Maintains current Individual Development Plan and Career Hub profile in Workday, while engaging regularly with Line Manager and People & Culture team for professional development reviews. **_About You_** + Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. + 1-2 years of experience in HR operations, finance, or procurement. + Experience with purchase order and payment processing systems preferred. + Proficiency in English (advanced level) required, local language skills advantageous. + Basic understanding of HR processes and financial controls. + Strong knowledge of purchase-to-pay processes and vendor management. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Familiarity with HR tools (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow) and procurement systems is advantageous. + Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities. + Adaptability, teamwork, and willingness to learn.
