People Services Cluster Lead META is responsible for ensuring the delivery of end-2-end People Services in META region, resolving problems, reviewing, and implementing change requests, ensuring optimal system performance, and driving continuous improvements, along with managing Payroll and Admin team, people projects, working under limited to no supervision. The role oversees the implementation of best practices for People Operations, continuous improvement, supports regional counterparts in process alignment, and manages vendor relationships for compliance. The role ensures strategic goals align with operational processes, guides problem resolution, and ensures high-quality service delivery. The role manages People Solutions Projects, establishes operational objectives, operation excellence and demonstrates strong project and stakeholder management skills
Your Role:
• Leads Payroll and Admin Team in META region ensuring best-in-class client experience for Employees in META region
• Leads the identification and implementation of process-related best practices, ensuring continuous improvement and optimal performance across the organization, leveraging quality systems and tools like Lean and Six Sigma.
• Provides functional leadership and support to regional counterparts for process-specific activities, ensuring alignment between global and local processes and facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
• Oversees conversion of strategic goals into effective processes and ways of working, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall objectives and driving consistent execution within the respective area of expertise.
• Manages internal and external vendors by overseeing performance, ensuring compliance with organizational standards, and effectively addressing vendor-related issues to maintain optimal supplier relationships and performance.
• Guides the team by acting as a subject matter expert in people solutions processes, providing support and guidance in problem resolution, reviewing and implementing change requests, ensuring proper system performance, and managing continuous improvements in the dedicated domain.
• Oversees high-quality service delivery in people processes to all business areas, ensuring that all processes are efficiently managed and continuously improved, and that global process integration is maintained. Meet operational KPIs (payroll accuracy, NPS, FTR, CFR, etc.)
• Manages People operations and projects within PPS team, including overseeing global People reporting and data quality across solution domains, ensuring accurate and efficient data management and execution.
• Establishes operational objectives and work plans, delegate assignments to subordinates, initiate and participate in continuous improvement projects, and support implementation plans with People process owners and various sectors and countries.
• Demonstrates strong communication, persuasion, and presentation skills, along with project and change management expertise, customer orientation, vendor management skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, cultural awareness, and the ability to drive change and manage stakeholders.
• Plays a key role in defining functional requirements for cash acceptance and processing, involving lockbox processing, error handling, exception processing, documentation of new functionality needs, and the design of reports, processes, or tools to facilitate error resolution.
• Proposes enhancements for way of working, looking for process simplification, value-stream mapping.
People Services Cluster Lead will manage META region and will report to Philips People Services Lead EMEA region.
You are the right fit if:
Bachelor's/ master’s degree in human resources, Communications, Business Administration, Organization Development or equivalent.
Minimum 6 years of experience with bachelor's or with Master's in areas such as Human Resources, Organizational Transformation, Process Optimization, Payroll Management, Accounting, HR Technology and Digitization, Recruiting or equivalent
Min.6 years of experience in People (HR) operations and payroll in Shared Services environment.
People management
Experience in project management is needed
Demonstrates strong impact and influence on large teams and key stakeholders
Well-developed communication skills, written, presentation and verbal
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Perfect level of Excel is needed
Experience with WorkDay, ServiceNow, Global Payroll (SAP) is a strong asset for this role
