Reporting to the People Partnering leadership for India, the People Partner – CRE (Bangalore) role is accountable for end‑to‑end people partnership for the Corporate Real Estate business in Bangalore.The role operates as a single‑threaded People Partner, owning employee relations, people strategy, succession planning, workforce planning, performance, engagement, and leadership advisory. The role works closely with People Services and Centres of Excellence for execution support, while retaining full accountability for people outcomes within the business.
This role is embedded with the business and plays a critical part in enabling leadership effectiveness, business continuity, and long‑term capability building aligned to India’s people strategy.

About the RoleAct as the primary People Partner for the CRE Bangalore business, partnering closely with business leaders to drive sustainable business outcomes through strong people practices.Own and shape the people strategy for the CRE Bangalore portfolio, aligned to the broader India people agenda and business priorities.Lead succession planning and talent reviews for the assigned population, ensuring leadership continuity, internal mobility, and pipeline readiness for critical roles.Own the full employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, performance management, employee engagement, talent development, and retention.Provide end‑to‑end Employee Relations ownership within the Indian context, including: Grievances, disciplinary actions, investigations, and performance‑related casesPolicy interpretation and applicationEnsuring compliance with Indian labour lawsPartnering with People Services for documentation, statutory processes, and closureSupport organization design, role clarity, span and layer effectiveness, and change management initiatives driven by business evolution.Coach and advise business leaders and people managers on: People leadership and capability buildingPerformance and feedback conversationsManaging complex or sensitive employee situationsPartner with COEs to deliver compensation cycles, promotions, hiring plans, learning interventions, and development actions for identified talent.Translate India‑wide people programs and cultural priorities into locally relevant actions for the CRE Bangalore business.Track and analyse people metrics (attrition, engagement, performance outcomes, ER trends, succession readiness) and proactively surface insights, risks, and recommendations to business leadership.Lead or contribute to people initiatives and projects, including culture interventions, manager capability programs, engagement actions, and process improvements.Build effective relationships with external partners as required (recruiters, background verification vendors, wellness providers).Act as a custodian of Cushman & Wakefield’s values, culture, and leadership expectations within the CRE Bangalore business.About YouMBA or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related discipline.Min 10 years of progressive HR experience, with strong experience in a People Partner / HR Business Partner role.Demonstrated ownership of people strategy and succession planning, including talent reviews and leadership pipeline development.Strong, hands‑on experience in employee relations management within the Indian labour context.Proven ability to partner with business leaders in complex, matrixed, or project‑based environments such as real estate, infrastructure, facilities management, or professional services.Sound understanding of Indian labour laws and their practical application in business decision‑making.Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution and operational rigor.Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and coaching capability.Clear, confident communicator with the maturity to handle sensitive and high‑impact people matters.Pragmatic, resilient, and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership.Why join Cushman & Wakefield?
