Job Title: Junior HR/Admin Specialist Location: Paris, France (Hybrid - 1 day remote per week) Contract: 6-monts, with potential extension up to 12 months
Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior HR/Admin Specialist to support our Paris team. This role is pivotal to ensuring smooth HR operations and a well-organized, welcoming office environment. The Junior HR/Admin Specialist will provide a variety of HR and administrative support services, assisting in the day-to-day HR processes and managing office-related activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate early in their HR career with basic knowledge of French labor law and an interest in fostering an engaging office environment.
Key Responsibilities
HR Support
Administrative HR Support: Assist with various HR-related administrative tasks, including managing employment documentation, providing relocation support, and handling employee absences, healthcare, and occupational safety records.
Employee Lifecycle Management:
Pre-Onboarding & Onboarding: Organize pre-onboarding activities and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires, including setting up workstations, arranging necessary equipment, and coordinating training schedules.
Offboarding: Facilitate offboarding processes, including final paperwork, collecting company assets, and conducting exit interviews if needed.
French Employment Law: Utilize basic knowledge of French labor law to advise managers on HR-related matters, ensuring compliance with local regulations in employee management.
Office Management
Office Maintenance & Supplies: Oversee office maintenance and repair needs, ensuring that all necessary office supplies are stocked and promptly reordered as needed.
Event & Activity Coordination: Organize office events, team-building activities, and other employee engagement initiatives, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
On-Site Support: Be physically present at the office to handle daily operations, answer staff questions, and ensure a comfortable and functional workspace.
Requirements Education & Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in HR or administrative support roles. Basic Knowledge of French Labor Law: Ability to interpret and apply basic HR policies and guidelines according to French employment law. Organizational Skills: Strong ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English. Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying and solving office and administrative issues.
