Job Title: People Lead – Change Management
Job Description
The People Lead – Change Management supports organizational effectiveness, change initiatives, and team ways of working across commercial functions. This role focuses on coordinating team effectiveness initiatives, driving change adoption, and enabling clear organizational structures and roles. You work closely with HR leadership and business stakeholders to design and track change plans, support new processes and tools, and translate data into actionable insights that improve how teams collaborate and perform.
Responsibilities
Support team effectiveness initiatives by coordinating and facilitating team sessions that improve collaboration, clarity, and performance.Organize, schedule, and coordinate team sessions, ensuring all materials, logistics, and follow-ups are in place.Conduct or support team diagnostics, analyze findings, and contribute to the development of action plans that address identified opportunities.Track follow-up actions, milestones, and outcomes, ensuring agreed plans are executed and progress is visible to stakeholders.Help define and refine ways of working, including governance and collaboration models between functions such as Sales and Marketing.Develop and maintain action, milestone, and outcome tracking tools using Excel or similar platforms to monitor progress on initiatives.Coordinate cross-functional activities, particularly between Sales and Marketing, to support alignment on change and organizational initiatives.Provide change initiative support, including planning, communication, and stakeholder coordination for new processes, tools, or structures.Drive change adoption and reinforcement by supporting communication, training, and follow-up activities that embed new ways of working.Support the rollout of new processes, tools, and organizational structures, ensuring stakeholders understand changes and their implications.Monitor implementation progress, flag risks or delays, and propose adjustments to keep initiatives on track.Contribute to organizational effectiveness efforts, including organizational design support and role clarity work.Assist in reviewing role clarity and organizational structures, identifying gaps or overlaps, and supporting recommendations for improvement.Prepare and maintain org charts that accurately reflect current and future-state organizational structures.Develop role documentation, including role descriptions and responsibilities, to support clarity and alignment.Create “from–to” change materials that clearly articulate current versus future states for roles, structures, and processes.Use HR systems and data to support tracking, reporting, and analysis of organizational and change initiatives.Apply knowledge of Canadian (Ontario) labor laws to ensure that organizational and change activities align with legal requirements.Prepare professional PowerPoint presentations and leadership-facing decks to communicate plans, progress, and outcomes.Support onboarding activities for senior leaders, such as the VP of Marketing, by coordinating plans, materials, and stakeholder touchpoints.Collaborate closely with the HR leader for commercial functions while partnering with the broader HR team responsible for day-to-day HR operations.Manage session materials, digital tools, and presentation content (including PowerPoint and other digital platforms) to ensure engaging and effective delivery.Track and report data related to change initiatives, team effectiveness, and organizational design, turning findings into clear insights and recommendations.Essential Skills
Demonstrated expertise in People & Organization roles, HR Business Partnering, or Change Management, with hands-on experience supporting organizational or change initiatives.Practical experience in change management, including change adoption, reinforcement, and support for new processes, tools, or structures.Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, sessions, and stakeholders simultaneously.Proficiency in Excel for tracking and managing data, including use of formulas for analysis and reporting.Advanced PowerPoint skills for creating materials for sessions and leadership-facing presentations.Knowledge of Canadian labor laws, specifically Ontario labor law, and the ability to apply this knowledge to HR and organizational activities.Experience with HRIS or HR systems (for example, Workday, SuccessFactors, or similar platforms).Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills, with the ability to engage and align cross-functional partners.Analytical mindset, with the ability to track data and report on progress in a clear and structured way.Strong digital skills, including the ability to manage and present content using tools such as PowerPoint and other digital presentation platforms.Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience supporting Sales or Marketing teams in an HR, organizational effectiveness, or change management capacity.Experience with HR systems such as Workday, SuccessFactors, or similar platforms, including data tracking and reporting.Analytical capabilities beyond basic tracking, including the ability to turn data into insights and clear recommendations for leaders.Experience preparing “from–to” change materials that explain current and future states for processes, roles, or structures.Familiarity with organizational design concepts, including role clarity, structure reviews, and org chart development.Interest in growing toward roles in HR Business Partnering, Organizational Effectiveness, or Change Management / Transformation.Ability to create visually engaging and clear presentations for sessions and leadership audiences.Comfort working closely with stakeholders, including HR leadership and business leaders, in a project and change support capacity.Motivation to work in a role that goes beyond traditional HR administration, with a focus on project coordination and transformation support.Work Environment
This role operates in a hybrid work environment with a blend of office and remote work. You work Monday to Friday during standard office hours, with approximately one to two days per week in the office depending on meeting schedules and business needs. The position sits within the commercial functions, working closely with the HR leader for these areas and partnering with a team member who manages day-to-day HR operations. You regularly collaborate with Sales and Marketing stakeholders and support the onboarding of leaders such as the VP of Marketing. The work relies heavily on digital tools and technologies, including Excel for data tracking and reporting, PowerPoint for session materials and leadership presentations, HR systems such as Workday or SuccessFactors, and other digital platforms used for session management and collaboration. The environment emphasizes collaboration, structured project and change work, and professional interaction with cross-functional teams and leadership.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
