This role supports plant operations by fostering a productive, compliant and engaging workplace environment. Key responsibilities include employee relations, recruitment, payroll, performance management and HR administration.
How you will contribute
You will use your in-depth process and service knowledge in your area of expertise to ensure that service level agreements and obligations are met. As a co-owner of the development of standard operating procedures, you will drive standardization and simplification of processes. In addition, you will provide input for training materials, ensure that standard operating procedures and data protection activities comply with Mondelēz International policies and the law, analyze and report on exceptions and offer recommendations for process improvements, and lead the sustainable continuous improvement process for the team.
Below are main deliverables of the role:
Employee Relations: primary HR contact for plant employees. Resolve employee concerns and facilitate effective communication between management and union.Reporting & Metrics: Provide regular HR reports (e.g headcount, turnover, absenteeism & OT)Talent Acquisition: overall in charge of plant recruitment requirements that ensures timely and qualified hires.Handling weekly payroll for blue collar employeesClosely Partner with People Lead on delivering HR plant activitiesFoster a productive and constructive relationship with the union while also protecting the interests of both the employer and employeesAddressing employee concerns on compensation, benefits, and other HR processes.Engagement & Culture: Lead or support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and internal communication at the plant level.Qualifications:
At Least 3 to 5 years of HR experience in a plant or manufacturing settingStrong Interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skillsExperience with unionized environment (preferred)Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environmentMore about this role
