Are you passionate about delivering exceptional HR support\r\nand creating a seamless employee experience? As a People Administrator,\r\nyou’ll be the welcoming face of the People Hub for colleague across the\r\nSopra Steria family, providing timely and accurate responses to HR queries and\r\nsupporting a wide range of people-related processes. From onboarding new\r\nstarters and managing employment changes, to updating contracts and\r\nright-to-work details, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our People Hub running\r\nsmoothly.

You’ll collaborate closely with Recruitment, HR, Payroll,\r\nand Vetting teams, building strong relationships while maintaining high\r\nstandards of service and data accuracy. Whether you're processing leavers,\r\nsupporting secondees, or helping with audit reports and reference requests,\r\nyour attention to detail and commitment to quality will help us deliver a\r\npeople-focused service that supports our long-term vision and business goals.

Our HR operations function will be moving into our Newcastle\r\noffice in the coming months. That means you’ll be based onsite at our Newcastle\r\noffice three days a week (Tuesday to Thursday), with the flexibility to work\r\nfrom home on the remaining days. During the initial training period, occasional\r\ntravel to our Stockton office may be required.

What you'll be doing:

Act\r\n as the first point of contact for HR queries, triaging requests and\r\n coordinating with second-tier teams.Support\r\n onboarding by preparing offer letters, contracts, and starter\r\n documentation, while maintaining communication with the relevant teams.Lead\r\n employment lifecycle tasks including contract returns, employment changes,\r\n leavers, fixed-term contracts, Mat leave, and career breaks.Handle\r\n reference requests, right-to-work checks, and maintain accurate employee\r\n records.Provide\r\n administrative support for secondees and deputees, including sponsorship\r\n documentation and travel coordination.Support\r\n the Employee Relations team with documentation and calculations, and\r\n contribute to audit reporting and ad hoc HR processes.Conduct\r\n peer checks to maintain accuracy and consistency across team outputs.

What you’ll bring:

Experience\r\n in a dynamic and high-volume administrative environment, with strong\r\n organisational and coordination abilities.Comfortable\r\n leading detailed data entry and document handling, ideally within an HR or\r\n People Services setting.Excellent\r\n attention to detail and accuracy across varied tasks and systems.Strong\r\n communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.Proficient\r\n in Microsoft Office and familiar with HR or CRM systems.HR\r\n experience is preferred but not essential—what matters most is your\r\n ability to stay organised, work collaboratively, and bring curiosity to\r\n learning new processes.
