Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Benefits Specialist to provide exceptional support to clients, their employees, and internal partners. The role involves setting up and maintaining client accounts, ensuring timely processing, and providing excellent customer service through various communication channels.
Responsibilities
+ Provide support to clients, their employees, and internal partners.
+ Manage the setup and ongoing processing, maintenance, and support of client accounts.
+ Deliver excellent customer service through calls, faxes, and emails.
+ Conduct outbound call/email campaigns to current clients and employees as needed.
+ Process benefit enrollments for product offerings to ensure timely processing.
+ Research and resolve basic product and service issues for clients and their employees.
+ Document information in the CRM to track issues.
+ Research and resolve monthly audits to correct billing inaccuracies.
+ Provide guidance on product offerings, including setup and use of Health & Benefits online.
+ Obtain and maintain benefit documentation to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
+ Stay updated on changes related to product offerings, regulations, and industry developments.
+ Research and correct errors from audit reports and carrier discrepancy files.
+ Interact with Health & Benefit carriers to resolve customer needs.
+ Participate in special projects and training sessions as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Strong customer service skills, preferably with call center experience.
+ Proficiency in computer skills, including HRIS, Payroll, and Windows.
+ Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
+ Excellent communication and people skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School diploma required.
+ Experience with benefits administration and health insurance is preferred.
+ Benefit verification experience is an advantage.
Work Environment
This role requires working 100% onsite in a quiet office environment with half-style cubicles separated substantially. The office offers various shifts (8-5, 9-6, 10-7, 11-8) to accommodate preferences, although business needs may dictate final shift assignments. The company provides a supportive atmosphere with managers available on-site, detailed training programs, and opportunities to learn about HR and benefits enrollment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
