The Role

Data specialist within a dedicated team responsible for the delivery of new client installation projects. You will be highly numerate with good analytical skills, and organisation skills to complement your technical expertise. Projects will involve the analysis, transformation, mapping and system configuration of pension scheme data onto our proprietary administration platform, as well as requiring an understanding of UK DB pension scheme benefits and member data. You will need to be comfortable adapting to new systems and ways of working, keen to learn new specialist skills, and focused on delivery. Collaboration and the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to other members of the team is essential. You will be a people manager; providing guidance and support and evaluating performance to help build a positive culture and a high-performing team. Experience in pension data analysis and transitions in an administration, consulting or insurance context is advantageous

The Requirements

A proven track record in delivering multiple projects to set deadlinesOpenness to learning new skillsKnowledge of UK DB pensions is not required, but this role will offer the opportunity to learn via training and client projectsExperience of analyzing and mapping pension scheme data is idealAn understanding of how data is used in benefit calculations and processesExcellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly ExcelExperience working with pension administration systems or other similar databasesA clear and concise communicator of complex or technical issuesFocused working style with good personal organization skillsCommitted to delivering high quality serviceAbility to work both independently and in teams in a fast-paced environmentInquisitive, self-starter attitude and ability to work with ambiguityLead, mentor, and motivate Junior Data Specialists, fostering an environment of growth, collaboration, and accountability.Provide guidance and support to junior team members in resolving complex technical issues.Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and team training sessions to nurture talent and address challenges.
