Our client, a well-known not-for-profit, is seeking a strategic and compassionate leader to join our team as Manager, Employee Pension & Benefits. Reporting to the Director of Total Rewards, you’ll lead a team dedicated to delivering our employee pension, benefits, and recognition programs with integrity, care, and strategic foresight.

What You Will Be DoingLead and coach a team of pension and benefits specialists located at the Richmond office
Manage the delivery and administration of group insurance, retirement planning, and enterprise-wide recognition programs
Serve as the subject matter expert on pensions (defined contribution and defined benefit) and employee benefits
Collaborate with internal governance bodies, including the Pension Committee and Board of Directors, to ensure alignment and compliance
Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and service-level agreements with benefit and pension providers
Ensure regulatory compliance and accurate record-keeping
Participate in strategic planning, budgeting, and labour relations processes
Who You AreBachelor’s degree in a related field
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in pension and benefits management (including both defined benefit and defined contribution plans)
CEBS certification and/or IFEBP training (e.g., Fundamentals in Retirement and Benefit Plans) is an asset
Public sector pension and SERP experience is a strong asset
Experience working in a unionized environment preferred
