Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment for our [staff/students/customers]. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work and can operate independently.

Responsibilities:

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; clean and disinfect restrooms and break rooms.Empty trash and recycling bins daily; ensure proper disposal of waste.Dust furniture, wipe down windows/glass, and sanitize high-touch surfaces (doorknobs, light switches).Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restock is needed.Report any safety hazards or needed repairs to the supervisor.Perform light maintenance (e.g., changing lightbulbs) as needed. Follow safety procedures and handle cleaning chemicals properly.

Education: No formal education required.

Skills:

Strong work ethic and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Reliable and punctual with a commitment to excellence.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical task as needed.Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or custodial experience is a plus but not required.
