Join our Occupational Therapy team at Children’s Village! Our OT Team is comprised of a diverse group of dedicated professionals that incorporate many general and specialty lines of service. We have a strong mentorship program and encourage new graduates and those looking for Clinical Fellowship.

Our team enjoys the following aspects of working:

Serve children 0-18 years of ageProvide in-person services in the outpatient clinic setting as well as in the home/community settings. Pending experience, services may also be provided in the hospitalAs part of our Early Supports for Infants and Toddlers Program (ESIT) team there are educational opportunities to further skills in relationship-based practice.Work collaboratively as part of a team of OTs, PTs, SLPs, early childhood educators, nurses, and behavioral therapists.Paid mileage reimbursementPremiums may be available for bilingual candidates

Children's Village is a neurodevelopmental center providing over 30 different specialty services to children with special healthcare needs. We offer opportunities for collaboration between multiple disciplines to achieve the best outcomes for children and families. Children’s Village was built on the dream of combining partner agencies to assure services for children with special needs and has been serving the Yakima Valley and Central Washington since 1997. Position Summary

The Occupational Therapist is an excellent opportunity to administer participants' evaluations and therapeutic procedures. This professional-level position offers you independent operation, and the capacity to apply your initiative, analysis, and service orientation in your daily work functions.

Responsibilities

You will provide skilled occupational therapy in accordance with the plan of careYou will assist the IDT in the evaluation and assessment of the patient's functional level by applying appropriate diagnostic and prognostic procedures and testsYou will recommend orthotics as indicated by condition and needsYou will treat the participant through the use of therapeutic activities designed to restore function and self-care activities for the purpose of improving functionYou will observe, record, and report the participant's reaction to treatment and any changes in the participant’s condition to the physician, Clinical Director or designed, or IDT as appropriate

Requirements

Registered by the American Occupational Therapy Association or successfully completed the educational requirements of occupational therapyState of Washington Occupational Therapist licenseHealth Care Provider level CPR certificationMinimum one (1) year of occupational therapy experience

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $42.98 - $65.15 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
