Responsibilities

The Division of Neurocognitive Disorders, within the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, is recruiting a Pediatric Neuropsychologist. We are seeking a candidate who has the experience and interpersonal skills necessary to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with our primary referral bases of Pediatric Neurology, Pediatric Neurosurgery, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, Developmental Pediatrics and other specialty practices. 

The ideal candidate would be interested in developing a comprehensive practice, including education and research initiatives, in a specialty area in collaboration with pediatric neurology, developmental pediatrics and other medical divisions within Mayo Clinic Children’s.The Neuropsychologist will be joining a supportive Division comprised of 4 Board-Certified (or Eligible) Pediatric Neuropsychologists, 11 Board-Certified (or Eligible) Neuropsychologists and 2 Board-Certified Rehabilitation Psychologists. As an academic institution, active engagement in interdisciplinary research programs that span the Mayo Clinic enterprise is expected.  Additionally, the candidate will assume some educational responsibilities as part of our Pediatric Neuropsychology Postdoctoral Specialty program. Faculty appointment will be commensurate with experience.



Qualifications

Candidates must be eligible for licensure in the state of Minnesota and be Board-certified/Board-eligible through the American Board of Professional Psychology. Requirements for the position include completion of an APA- or CPA-accredited doctoral program/internship, and a post-doctoral fellowship with epilepsy experience. Applicants should demonstrate a strong interest in multidisciplinary clinical, educational, and research collaboration and excellent interpersonal communication and leadership abilities.
