Pediatric Endocrinologist

ProMedica Physicians Pediatric Endocrinology is looking for a board eligible/certified Endocrinologist to join our busy and established practice in Toledo, OH. This practice is located conveniently on the north campus of ProMedica Ebeid Children's Hospital.
Position Highlights:
Schedule- Monday through Friday 8a-4:30p
Physician will be a Full Time employee devoting at least thirty-five (35) hours per week to providing patient care, plus performing Physician's administrative duties pertaining to the practice
Duties typically encompass the following:
Diagnose and provide comprehensive care for pediatric endocrine conditions
Educate families, medical students, residents and fellows
Coordinate care with pediatric specialists in cardiology, critical care, gastroenterology, hematology/oncology, neonatology, pulmonology, and surgery
Home On Call Responsibilities (Includes weekends/holidays)- Shared responsibility between APP's and Physicians
Join a team of 2 board-certified pediatric endocrinologists and 3 APP-CNPs
Access to a robust diabetes program with 3 full-time diabetes educators and social work support
Opportunity to work with Diabetes Youth Services, our local non-profit organization that helps us provide summer camp, school support and education, as well as year-round programming for our patients living with diabetes. Their mission is "Connecting families, educating communities, and supporting children living with diabetes." For more information check out the DYS website at dys4kids.org.
Clinical work with some quality projects (clinical and teaching are the emphasis, clinical faculty appointment at University of Toledo is typical and dependent on experience)
Teach and mentor through our resident and medical student education with affiliation through UTMC, clinical instruction of adult endocrinology fellows through UTMC
Epic EMR (both ambulatory and inpatient settings)

Office across the street from hospital with a 15-bed PICU, 72-bed NICU, and dedicated Pediatric Emergency department (Level 2 Trauma Center)

Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in Ohio
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of endocrinology or similar
Board certified or eligible in endocrinology
Current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification
