The Pediatric Cardiology Intern will support the division through a combination of administrative, organizational, and clinical exposure opportunities. This role involves assisting with database management, organizing shared resources, and collaborating with IT to improve reporting tools. In addition, the intern will have the opportunity to observe and learn from pediatric cardiologists as they evaluate patients and interpret or perform various cardiac studies. The position is well suited for individuals with a science or medical background who enjoy interacting with children and working in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

Update the division’s MRI/CT and referral databases. Organize the division’s general SharePoint Drive, which houses important journal articles, protocols, and patient databases. Work with IT to expand the diagnosis list available in the echocardiogram report to allow for more efficient searching capabilities.

Clinical Opportunities
