The Non-Invasive Imaging Cardiologist will work primarily at Johns Hopkins Children's Center main campus. Candidates must have completed residency & fellowship training. Additional training and/or extensive experience in pediatric and congenital non-invasive imaging, and especially fetal cardiology, is required. Clinical activities will include working in the pediatric cardiology echocardiography laboratory, outpatient clinics, and inpatient rotation. Depending on training and expertise, may also perform and interpret pediatric cardiac MRIs and/or fetal echocardiograms. Travel to outreach clinics located in surrounding community cities maybe required. Clinical activities of this faculty member will be at the full-time instructor/assistant/associate/professor rank based on the experience of the candidate. Duties & Responsibilities + Patient care duties including inpatient, outpatient, and echocardiography lab + On-call duties for pediatric & congenital cardiology and for non-invasive imaging + Teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows + Academic efforts including original research and QI + Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned. + MD/DO or foreign equivalent + Eligible for licensure in Maryland + BC/BE in Pediatric Cardiology + 3 years pediatric residency/3years pediatric cardiology fellowship or equivalent + Significant experience or formal training in pediatric and congenital heart disease non-invasive imaging Academic appointment will be commensurate with the individual's experience.
