Location: Bowling Green, KY Category: Faculty Posted On: Wed Sep 17 2025 Job Description: The Department of Finance at Western Kentucky University invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-eligible faculty appointment at the rank of Pedagogical Assistant Professor in the Department of Finance within the Gordon Ford College of Business for Fall 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in corporate finance and investments with availability in the banking or financial planning area, depending upon interest. This position focuses exclusively on teaching excellence with a twelve-credit hour per semester (4/4) teaching load and no research responsibilities. This faculty position will be a vital part of a growing program within the Gordon Ford College of Business. We are seeking candidates demonstrating evidence of their ability to provide leadership on curriculum development and student success in Finance. Job Requirements: Candidates for the position must have: + Terminal degree in finance or a related field OR master's degree will also be considered with significant relevant experience. + Minimum of three years of relevant professional work experience in finance, banking, or related industries. + Evidence of teaching effectiveness or strong potential for teaching excellence. + Demonstrated commitment to undergraduate education and student success.
