Strategy and Policy Implementation

Implement local changes according to People Business Partner and Center of Excellence (CoE) guidelines

Recruitment and Onboarding Management

Manage new hire arrivals in partnership with People Services for administrative tasks

Training and Skill Development

Coordinate and manage training delivery and tracking

Performance Management

Guide employees and managers through the performance process

Perform year-end calibration according to CoE guidance with the People Business Partner when appropriate

Global Mobility

Support People Services in global mobility of employees

Employee Separation and Absence Management

Manage and coordinate employee separation and absence with People Services for administrative tasks

Seek support from People Business Partner when appropriate

Non-Regular Employee Support

May provide support to contingent and non-employee resources (conversion, transfer, termination)

Local Project Support

Support People-related local projects

System Utilization Promotion

Proactively encourage all line managers and employees to utilize ESS/MSS and MyPortal

May serve as a point of contact for Workday P&C transactions, notifications and approvals

Continuous Improvement Promotion

Promote continuous improvement through feedback loops and process improvement ideas

Implement improvements in collaboration with People Excellence COE Partner & People Services

Organization Management

Support large organization changes with People Business Partners (RIFs & expansions)

Offer organizational system support for line management

Conduct Workday organization audits and clean-up efforts

Required Skills and Qualities:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Problem-solving ability and analytical thinking

Project management skills

Knowledge of HR systems (especially Workday)

Experience in change management

Ability to work in teams and collaborate

Attention to detail and accuracy

Business-level proficiency in English

Japanese:Native-level
