This role is pivotal to maintaining production consistency across a multi-country network of contract manufacturing organisations (CMOs) and suppliers. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong operational acumen, supply chain leadership, and the ability to manage remote teams and complex outsourced relationships. The role operates with autonomy within the MI operational segment and influences strategic decisions and budgetary planning.

Job DescriptionResponsibilities

Oversee daily operations of external manufacturing partners to ensure reliability, quality, and compliance in MI drug product production.

Manage the end-to-end supply chain for raw materials and consumables, ensuring timely availability and cost-effective sourcing.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with CMOs and suppliers, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory standards.

Lead cross-functional collaboration across quality, regulatory, procurement, and logistics teams to support manufacturing and supply continuity.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain performance, cost optimisation, and risk mitigation.

Provide leadership and guidance to remote teams across multiple countries, fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.

Own and influence operating plans and budgets related to external manufacturing and supply chain activities.

Apply evaluative judgement to resolve complex operational challenges and recommend best practices informed by industry trends.

Present business and technical solutions to senior leadership and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to drive strategic outcomes.

QualificationsSignificant experience in manufacturing and operations management within the pharmaceutical or molecular imaging domain.Proven track record in managing outsourced or contract manufacturing operations.Strong understanding of GMP, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance in drug product manufacturing.Demonstrated ability to lead remote, cross-border teams and manage multi-country supply chains.Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering).

Travel

This role will require flexibility to travel regularly within the EU region and occasionally outside of the EU. Travel would not be expected to exceed 50% on a routine basis.
