We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated PDI Technician to join our team at Vertu Volkswagen Nottingham South, working from our offsite preparation facility in Langar, Nottingham.

We offer a competitive basic salary between £29,200 and £35,720, depending on your skills and experience. This is based on a 41‑hour working week, with Saturdays paid as overtime, plus the opportunity to earn an additional over‑performance bonus.

Your Role

As a PDI Technician, you’ll play a vital part in delivering the exceptional customer experience we pride ourselves on—built on trust, transparency, and high‑quality workmanship.

Working from our Langar prep facility, you will:

Carry out pre‑delivery inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles

Ensure all work meets the highest standards and adheres to manufacturer guidelines

Work efficiently within agreed timeframes while maintaining excellent productivity

Uphold our commitment to first‑time fixes and outstanding customer service

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

A relevant Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 qualification

Current experience as a Vehicle Technician

An MOT licence (preferred but not essential)

Your own tools

A full UK driving licence
